Nursery Mixes

When you are growing dope plants in a nursery outdoors the mixture would include main contents like peat, sand, bark, and soil. Usually at least 80% of the mixture is consistent of softwood bark. Usually there is some peat in nursery mixes to make sure the mixture can hold a decent amount of water. Soil and sand are put in usually to make the mixture more weighted so the container is less likely to fall over. Usually people growing marijuana plants will have a mixture containing 80% of pine bark, 10% of sand, and 10% of peat.

Marijuana Plants

The mixture that you use in a nursery garden can vary for dope plants. Certain mixtures will work better for weed plants then they might for other types of plants in the nursery. When you are mixing growing media for your dope plants that are going to grow in your nursery there are some things you should remember.

Tips

You should make sure you check the pH level, electrical conductivity, and how easily the mixture gets wet before using it with your ganja plants.

Don’t modify the growing media you are already using with your dope plants before you test it to make sure it won’t affect your marijuana plants at all.

Make sure that you completely mix the contents in but don’t be too vigorous when stirring.

If your mixture has any vermiculite or fertilizers that are plastic coated which slowly release in it then it’s important that you don’t over mix the contents.

Don’t put media in storage for a long time if there is any fertilizer in it. if the media is moist this is even more of an issue to stay away from.

Be sure to not let any mixtures which have a large amount of peat moss in it to dry out.
