How to Make Honey Hash Oil – Directions (Extracting the Oil)

This is a continuance of the previous article with directions on how to prepare the extractor. This will focus on how you extract the oil. Remember that the yield you get compared to the weight of your marijuana plants is not great though and is only suggested if you have a large personal crop.

Step 1

Go outside with your supplies to a private area that has a bit of a breeze. You don’t want the flames from the butane to stay around the area and risk the chance of it catching on fire. Now you will hold up the pipe with the multi-holed end facing down and about two inches above the baking dish.

Step 2

Flip the butane can upside down and let the butane gas enter the pipe through the top end cap which has one hole in it. This is where everything could go wrong from just one spark so be careful

Step 3

When the butane gas enters and flows towards the other end of the pipe it will start to extract the oil from your marijuana. Once the butane gas reaches the end of the pipe it starts to drain the hash oil out and lands on the baking dish. The color of the oil will be anywhere from yellow to green or gold.
